20120621 - inital recording of acoustic guitar tracks on a Yamaha FG-300
equiped with a diaphram pickup through a Boss GE-7 Equalizer direct to a
Toshiba Satellite laptop running Ubuntu and Audacity. Initial cleanup of
glitches (due to misassignment of process stack priorities?)...

20120721 - rerecord acoustic tracks for Interlude, mvmt.III, and mvmt.V
with fresh strings (Gibson Acoustic Medium) to replace rhythmic 
incontinuities. Vocals for mvmt.III and mvmt.V using an Audio-Techica
ST-90.

20120801 - Construct fadein/cross channel tones in Interlude.

20120901 - Marathon session where (almost) all other tracks were recorded.

Electric guitar: Gretsch 1968 Custom Sunburst with DiMarzio X2 pickup
                 through an A/B switch (clean) and DeltaLab TD1 Tube Driver
                 (high gain channel) into a VOX AC15

Bass guitar(s):  Madeira 4 string (flat wound) on all except mvmt.III
                 Samick 5 string (tape wound)
                 all bass tracks were recorded direct with no monitor
                 except chin on horn of body to detect sympathetic vibrations

Tenor Saxophone: Selmer Mark VI

Percussion:      Triangle, constructs within audacity

Vocals:          "Transmission Received" by cutting up and layering answering
                 machine feed(back), everything else is copied and layered
                 from a single performance

Harmonica:       $5 toy

20121001 -       standup piano crossfades in mvmt.IV
